Help with VenDarts and VenDarts Online, including purchases, scoring, TV Mode, online matches, connections and common troubleshooting.
VenDarts Support
Help with the main VenDarts app, purchases, gameplay and TV Mode.
Restore purchases
If you have already purchased an upgrade, use the in-app restore purchase option while signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account used for the original purchase.
Connect a TV or browser
Make sure the scoring device and the TV or browser are connected to the same local Wi-Fi network.
Start TV Mode in VenDarts, then open the address shown by the app in the TV or browser.
Scoring or match issues
If a score looks wrong, use Undo where available and re-enter the visit.
For repeatable issues, note the game mode, starting score, players and the darts entered so the problem can be reproduced.
Keep VenDarts current
Install the latest available App Store or Google Play version before reporting a problem.
Updates may include scoring fixes, compatibility improvements and new features.
Online Match Support
VenDarts Online uses an internet connection to connect real darts players for live multiplayer matches.
Finding an opponent
Quick Match looks for another available player.
If no opponent is currently available, you may need to wait or try again later. Matchmaking cannot guarantee that another player will always be available.
Joining a friend
One player creates the match and the other player joins using the room code provided for that match.
Make sure the room code is entered correctly and that the room is still available.
Camera isn't working
Check that VenDarts Online has permission to use your device camera.
If permission has previously been denied, you may need to enable camera access from your device settings.
Opponent can't hear you
Check that microphone permission is enabled for VenDarts Online and that your device microphone is not being used or blocked by another application.
Match disconnected
Online matches depend on both players' internet connections.
Wi-Fi or mobile-data interruptions, device problems or temporary network failures can interrupt a match.
Enter the score you threw
VenDarts Online relies on players entering their genuine score.
Genuine mistakes can happen. Deliberately entering false scores is against the VenDarts Online Community Rules.
Is my match being recorded?
VenDarts Online is not designed as a video recording service.
Under the current architecture, live camera and microphone media is transmitted between the participating players for the live match and is not recorded or stored by VenDarts Online.
Technical information may still be exchanged to establish and maintain the online connection.
Common Online Questions
Do both players need internet access?
Yes. VenDarts Online is an internet multiplayer service and both players need a working connection.
Do both players use real dartboards?
Yes. VenDarts Online is designed around players using their own physical dartboard and real darts.
Does VenDarts Online automatically detect where my darts land?
No. Players enter their scores into VenDarts Online. Scores should accurately represent the darts actually thrown.
Why can't Quick Match find anybody?
Quick Match can only connect you when another suitable player is available at the same time. If nobody is currently available, try again later or use Play a Friend.
What if my internet disconnects?
A genuine connection failure can happen and does not automatically mean a player has deliberately abandoned a match.
Does Chaos affect my nine-dart average?
No. Chaos gameplay does not affect the VenDarts Online nine-dart average because Chaos can deliberately alter normal scoring conditions.
Can I report somebody for cheating?
VenDarts Online is being developed with reporting and moderation features. Where reporting is available, it should be used for genuine concerns such as deliberate false scoring, harassment or seriously inappropriate behaviour.
Can I block another player?
Player blocking is part of the planned VenDarts Online player-safety system. Where blocking is available, it can be used when you do not want further interaction with another player.
Problems with another player
VenDarts Online is competitive, and friendly darts banter is part of the game. Deliberate cheating, harassment, threats and seriously inappropriate camera or microphone behaviour are not.
